I Wrote This Poem With a Life Buoy
Sharing a thought
Is not best spoken in a passionate language
It is not best written on an aesthetic scroll
It is best conveyed in poetry
As my ink spills I can’t float
I find myself almost submerged in my verbose outrage
I hang on to my pen like it an oar
Emotions want me to word a story
But I have to stay afloat
The gravity is strong under this emotional voyage
And I have to conserve some wordage for another show
To protect me from drowning, I wrote this poem with a life buoy
