I Write Poems For Contests

I write poems for contests
On soup and especially on AP 
Because it is a way to level up on All Poetry
And because it is a challenge
And I love a challenge

But why do I keep playing word games?
I am a fanatic with them.
I have had best word of the week
Five years in a row

Maybe that’s why…..

I did win a racquetball tournament in 1980 but that is the only sport I truly ever loved.

John Lawless September 9, 2021 at 5:45 AM Obviously Caren you suffer from a lingering case of "vocabulitis" as little know disorder often connected to early school teachers who always had a "WORD OF THE DAY" and a desire to have you use it in a complete sentence.
