I Write Day and Night

I have no other go, but only write
As I must with fate wage a fight
Writing alone gives me delight
As it helps me show to all light
Many times I may not be right
I may spend sleepless night
Peace won't come overnight
Success, I am yet to sight
My heart is a pathetic site
I can't take things damn light
I fall a prey for mercy's bait
Many times, I did calmly wait
With in heart a heavy weight
I suffered due to fate's might
My mind, hope will often excite
But, my life, defeat will bite
I will fly like a cut-off kite
And fall from a great height
Due to prayer, I am alright
God's name, I silently recite
When time gives me respite
God makes my mood bright
My brain, He does ignite
My emotions, prayers unite
God only knows my plight.
