I Wonder When

Here comes the rain again, so much of it this summer Thunderstorms tonight, torrential downpours now The ground and trees around here, so very soaked Now, the end of Hurricane Ida to come soon, wow! So much is transpiring all around the world, I wonder Rain, rain, rain and more rain, are the skies crying? I grasp everything around that I can to be grateful for As I live to persevere with strength, I keep on trying To share with my friends certain things, the best I can And also rely on the survival that comes from my pen It is in my nature to worry about them, as I do to no end All the while, I wait for Jesus to return and I wonder when? I do wish these storms would come to and end. I love the fresh cleansing air of the rain, but not drowning in it.. Well said

Exactly. FEMA is called into an area of flooding in our state just from thunderstorms tonight and the rest of downgraded hurricane isn't even here yet. Thank you :)
