I Wonder

I wonder what it will be like
So many years from now
When we’re both old
And still in love

I wonder how many times
I’ll hold your hand,
Kiss your lips,
Hear your voice,
See your smile

I wonder how many times
I’ll say, “I’m sorry,”
For something I did –
How many times you’ll get angry,
How many times you’ll forgive me

I wonder what songs we'll sing together,
What places we’ll walk to reminisce,
Looking back through rose-colored frames,
At moments we once shared.
