I Wish You Wouldn'T Leave

I wish you wouldn't leave I wish that you would stay,
I am so in love with you I just don't know what to say,
I didn't want to get in the way of your happiness,
I couldn't bring myself to tell you right before you left,
I watched you walk out the door as you said your last goodbye,
I turned my head so you wouldn't see the tears welling up in my eyes,

Sad and effectively moving write, bare emotions expressed so fluidly, your lines are simple but have substance.
