I wish to lose myself in that delicate and gentle light

I wish to lose myself in that delicate and gentle light, in a fragile morning that dissolves into nothingness, to be pure madness and silent peace like a dream, completely forgotten, impossible yet desired. I wish to collapse into the grass untouched by steps, with eyes fixed on the infinite and insatiable sky, to immerse myself in the scents of summer flowers, and to love endlessly all that is alive and vibrant. I wish to see the ripple and flow of the blue river, among the curly bushes embracing the banks, to absorb with my skin the warm glow of the sun, and to jump into the water like in childhood, without a care. I wish a naive and sweet melody to fill my soul, to inhale the air like ripe, juicy fruits, so my soul may fly wild, without reason, and my heart may race, dizzy with freedom. I wish to meet what I have lost, even for a moment to dive into that distant past... But for all that has passed, the price has been paid, and now remains only the reward of a secret farewell.
