I Wish the Day Would Come

I wish the day would come
The day when the thought of love was not poignant
But rather it was warm
No longer a sad thought,
But one that I could dream of every night

I wish the day could come when the thought of love was not a thought at all,
But a reality I could experience myself
I wish the day could come that one day, our love could radiate
Through the masses of strangers and friends we each day see.
I wish the day would come
The day when we could be the definition of perfection

Your wishes are shared by many, David. I would love to see a world in which "we could be the definition of perfection." Very sweet thoughts here. Love, Carolyn
