I Wish, If I Could

I wish, if I could take your pain
Take your immense pain and wail loudly
I wish, if I could cry your tears out
Out until you feel free
I wish, if I could carry your wreckage on my back
The wreckage of an unkind past and a broken heart

I wish, if I could be the one to see those nightmares
I wish, if I could be the one to fall into those pitfalls 
I wish, if I could be the one to get those bad omens
I wish, if I could be the one to go through all those aches
I wish, if I could replace you
Replace you in all your misfortune

I wish and I really wish,
If you had a more beautiful life to appreciate and feel good about
