I Wish I Were You

i wish i were you, knitted like a cotton scarf,
multicolored and iridescent
wearing from the closet of angels
and smiling the same smile that,
you smile in hesitation when you see me.
if i had a shadow under my eyes
and a dimple that never forms above my smile,
i wish i had a heart,
and i could begin to cry when i laughed so much,
poised my demeanor under politeness
as if i have failed on my own
these wishes are never becoming horses

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
