I Wish I Was Wrong

I wished as a child upon a star
For Christmas to never be very far

Then I wished for a lovers kiss
I dreamed that love would never fall amiss

I wish at times I was not so smart
Wisdom brings disappointment after dark

I wish at times I was not always right
Happiness you see, is about letting love take flight
			
I truly wish one day to be wrong
So that you girl, will cry for me and sing me my song

Like you,I always wished for Christmas to be here,everyday..I might have believed n stars too,but life is somehow different than fairyland,there is a dark patch to it,but as we learn to find happiness in our own solitude,that would lead to a bright side too.
