I Wish

I wish I could return home yesterday. To the morning sunrise, to the butterflies in my everlasting glory, touching like a mercy When the little gentle steps become certain Somehow, I am convinced now too That I will be doing okay even without you. I wish I am reading your mind through yesterday and all To reach your heart through my unspoken dreams Where silence still knit a magnificent bridge Of trust and faith to reach a long-lost hand And somehow I am convinced now too That life will unfold slowly this time.
