I Wish

I wish I knew what to tell you, I wish I could look you in Those sky blue eyes that can trap my gaze for hours, And lie to you. I wish I could tell you this Is all going to be as harmoniously blissful As it started out. Heck, I wish I could lie to myself, Look at myself in the mirror and convince myself This will be perfection. There's a catch, There will always be a catch To this so-called "perfection" we've been living, And it kills me to say each and every word.
