I Win

I Win By Rick Rucker I have found the Fairest in The Land, Courted her, and won her hand! And there, upon her hand, You will soon see my Wedding Band! I can’t believe I won her, on my part, By shooting Roses at her Heart, Enough must have found their mark, To have ignited a spark, That set her Heart aflame, Wanting to change her last name! She says that I will see, Just how happy a man can be, In a cottage, by the shore, Living behind a Red DooR! We are currently working out how, I’m so impatient, I want it NOW! It will happen in its own time, I hope I won’t be past my prime! After all, I’m sixty four, Won’t be a Youngster too much more!
