I Win
Hello cruel world it's me again
Walking on your tight rope
Barely able to keep my balance
Almost fell to the ground below
Are you the puppet master
Pulling the strings at your desire
To look you straight in the eyes
You act as though I were a liar
I do not complain to you
For all that you have thrown my way
Take it as if it were nothing at all
Just another scoop on my plate
No big deal no worry at all
You have taught me how to juggle
So I smile back and act
As if I will not struggle
I must not show you that
I have an achilles heal
Time to put on my poker face
And hide how I really feel
Loose my step fall down now
Would be the end of me
If there is one thing I've learned
Is to stay close to the enemy
Stubborn is a hard thing to beat
We each take our turn at a time
You make your play thinking
There's now way I will survive
Fool me once I'll give you that
Never will you fool me twice
I have a few tricks up my sleeve
From living this hard life
Make your move with cautious thought
Because my turn it's coming next
You may think you have won this time
But I live my life with no regrets
