I Will Write Those Lesson Plans Today

I resolve to work on lesson plans today. Planning them a month in advance. Hey! When did this book get delivered? I read three chapters. A bird flies past the window. I run out and sprinkle some bird seed. I will write those lesson plans when I return to the house. The garage door goes up. I notice my art studio. There are three paintings I could probably finish today. I can’t finish them during the week can I? I run back in and get my cell phone. I put my friends on speaker while I paint. Hey wait! Did I check out my two poetry sites today? Forty-three messages! It would be rude not to answer them. I get several poem ideas and write up ten poems. Those lesson plans could be next, but these ideas are fresh. If I do not write these poems now, I will lose them. My husband wants to go out for supper. Why not? I can wake up early in the morning and write lesson plans.

Amazing. I used to have the same issue with lesson plans, and so did my wife. Why are they so cumbersome? So many other things command our priorities.

I think it is just redundant and boring to do.
