I Will Sing With You
I will sing with you an unfamiliar voice said.
Did the corn know how to talk? Cow felt a touch of dread.
Was it a ghost? A gremlin? A witch: A ghoul?
I’m right here said Sid scarecrow. Don’t be a fool.
They formed a duet, the cow and man of straw.
A donkey begged to join, he had a jazzy hee-haw.
Then we’d be a trio though, complained old Sid.
Why not? Said the cow, and this is what they did.
