I Will See My Love Tonight

I Will See My Love Tonight By Rick Rucker Time and distance conspire to keep us apart, But we try to see each other twice a week, and that’s a start, I hold a Vision of her, in my mind, But it pales in comparison to her real appearance, that I find, Far beyond her outward look, there is her feel, and scent, When we Kiss, I am enthralled, and totally obedient, If I sound incapable of rational thought, It’s by her side, to be, I’ve fought! I may not be the greatest catch, But, together, we are a terrific match, She is more staid, and conservative, My craziness seems to help her live, A little more fun filled life, Even considering being Crazy Man’s Wife! I have tried to let her see, That loving her, I’ll always be!

A nice set of rhyming couplets. You have described your feelings quite well here.
