I Will Never Diminish the Value of Words, 
The value of words!  It is my value as Lord.
Doesn't the spirit of words strike me death,
If my modest talent fails to reach its depth?

Mirages sway, rocking the grey steppe,  
The sound of a locomotive mournful cry.  
Heavy freight dragging barrels loaded neft,  
Slithering across the earth like a snake ply.

The heavy train heads westward,  
Our oil flows freely, without any cost.  
We take the oil, refill it with water back,  
Tearing apart the earth, leaving most.

The sun sets in the western sky,  
Its heat slowly fades away.  
The red watermelon is gradually eaten,  
And soon, it’s gone completely.

The sun is gone, gone from our view at all,  
The widow night, sucking blood without end.  
Our ancestors cried "Abilai" when go battle, 
What kind of march do we follow by legend?

They left us behind to defend and fight?  
From Mangystau to the Volga, they herd cattle,  
And never think the generation will live at night.

The days when the grey colt would whinny!  
The days that made the white ewe give birth!  
After the setting sun, I gaze longingly,  
Hoping that one of my dreams might come true!
