I Will Leave You All Behind

They brought me to this spacy place. 

I am dragged through spells of horror. 

With intermittent drips of emotion. 

In this chilling arena. 

Where I am forced to watch the others on their rotting trail. 

I hope to leave them all behind.

Sacrificing nothing but my guilt and tears.

I am sorry I refused to share my hope with everyone.

But you are all too ravenous. 

And I must protect my normalcy. 

Or else I am just like all of you. 

So I zip up. 

And walk back through the waiting room. 

Hoping someone is waiting for me.
