I Will Invite a Poem
“Beauty is life when life unveils her holy face,”
Kahlil Gibran
Silence deepens heartache like a clouded mountaintop
Which words would I craft to fill this dead silence up?
Would you tell me now that time is still there, a silent remain?
I long to wash the silence away with a cherishing sound of rain!
Truth be told, it will be yet another fancy imagining time
Silent is my day now, deadly silence creeps in all pastime
Poetry is telling me to write a poem of happiness, love, and life
I would long for her angelic face in this lonely moment of strife.
A gentle, silent moment on a fireball, a hidden trail of a helpless cry
A day will cast a softer color with the palette of colors, a heavenly try
I will invite a poem to tell me about an indomitable blossoming day,
And life will find a little river running the course to a newer pathway.
