I Will Come Again

I will come again, my dear,
In the form of a bird,
And with my sweet melody,
Your heart will be stirred.

My wings will carry me
Across the great expanse,
And I’ll perch upon your window sill,
And give you another chance.

To hear my voice and know
That I am still with you,
Though I may be gone,
My love will remain true.

So listen closely to my song,
And let it bring you peace,
For though I may have left this world,
My love will never cease.

I will come again, my dear,
In the form of a bird,
And with my sweet melody,
Your heart will be stirred.
