I will choose

I love you to the moon and back
Not a thing could change that fact
When we are nothing more than a memory 
I’ll still cherish you when I’m all alone and your not  here with me
I will love you for always 
I’ll live for you each and every day
One day I’ll be ok. But for now, the pain is here to stay

I’ll choose to be happy, powerful, and strong
I’ll prove you wrong
That I’ll never grow to hate
The man that made me  everything I wanted to be
No matter how much it hurts that you arnt with me
I’ll love you endlessly 

I know you keep saying you’re just preparing me for the Next Guy
But moving past this is hard, no matter what I try
The red string of fate, no matter how hard we tried, we just couldn’t escape
I’ll morn you for a lifetime until your again by my side 

I will always choose happiness 
Even though it doesn’t make this pain any less
Reality is reality as you perceive it to be
So choose to be happy
That’s what you always told me 
I will choose to be, strong, powerful and happy
Even without you here to remind me 
I will live for you each and every day
Honoring your memory in my own way
I’ll stay on the path, until we meet again
I will always love you, until the very end

I’ll choose to be happy, powerful, and strong
I’ll prove you wrong
That I’ll never grow to hate
The man that made me  everything I wanted to be
No matter how much it hurts that you arnt with me
I’ll love you endlessly 

But I will still have to go on 
And choose to be strong
While losing the part of me that I will always need 
Force myself to live past the memories and be the change I will have to be
Now that you arnt here to support me
I will rise above the pain, be the woman we both wanted and want me to be
Strong, powerful, and happy
Even though you’re not here to remind me 
I’ll stay on the path, choosing honor throughout my day
In your memory I will be brave 

I’ll choose to be happy, powerful, and strong
I’ll prove you wrong
That I’ll never grow to hate

Here, now, in this moment in time
Till the end of my life line
