I Will Be Your Friend

Everyday I watch you go by
All alone and all by yourself
The frown on your face, you don't need to wear
All you need is someone to talk to
Call on me and I’ll be your friend

No one deserves to be alone
We all need someone by our side
Someone to help put a smile on our face
When you need someone to play, laugh or cry with
Call on me and I’ll be your friend

When you need a shoulder to lean on
When you need someone you can trust
To be there for you in time of need
When you're looking for who to share your joy or pain with
Call on me and I’ll be your friend.
