I Went To a Therapist Once

I went to a therapist once. She was lovely. Talked about herself for an hour. I could not have gotten a word in if I had tried. I did not need to. She asked when I would be back. I said “I’m not coming back”. It was the only thing I said during my hour of listening.

I've never had to pay for the services of any therapist because I am my own best listener. I am very skeptical of most that passes for psychiatry. It seems to work best with psychiatrists who charge exorbitant fees! Another good one, Caren. / M

Ditto! and Ditto again. We went to a therapist when we were hijacked and we walked out as he sat and listened , where his mind was I don't know but he said "Do either of you fantasize?" Love and hugs, Jenny.

I am a therapist, and I have to tell you, I thought we were supposed to listen, not yak. Smirk.

Therapists keep their mouths shut and yours going. I would call her a "lemon" of a therapist and you should have charged her for "your"services. Not all therapists are good. She should not be held as the gold standard. She is the exception, not the rule. Panagiota...,

My girlfriend went to one who held a dog the entire time. My girlfriend is terrified and allergic to dogs. Another dud.
