I Watched the Day Light Come In

As morning begin to set in 
i saw the day light peeking 
in
As i begin to hear the birds
singing in tune
I looked around i thanked God
for another blessed day
For all the disappointment that
may come my way
As the family gather in to say 
the daily prayer
We prayed for world peace so that
one day that other can watch the day
light come in
