I Was the Seed

There was once a seed, small and tiny,
You sowed it in when it was shiny.
You put manure for it to nurture,
All you wanted was for a better future.
Once it had a stem and leaf,
It was growing you felt relief.
Till it was tall you helped it grow,
It grew and grew till it touched the rainbow.
Now that it's roots were stronger than ever,
It decided to take care of you forever.
When you sit below it, tired and cold,
It promises to give you wind, pleasent and cold.
When it is sunny and you need aid,
It promises to provide you with shade.
When there's a thunderstorm or rain,
It promises to soothen your pain.
The seed is now a tree because of you,
This tree will always take care of you.
