I Was Not a Warrior Woman

I was terrified
I jumped in anyway
Because jumping in is what I do

I was scared I would fail.
I danced in anyway
Because I had to role model

I was fearful
But I did not want them to know
So I took the dive

I was not courageous
I was not brave
I was not a warrior woman

But I was a Mom
So I had
no choice….
