I Was Finally Free and My Soul Came Out
Deep within the secret lies
Waiting to live through joyous cries
It's been there from birth or before
Being blocked by a closed minded door
Holding me back from my inner me
Keeing me down from who I wanted to be
I hid in the shadows looking for the light
Walking the road of the darkest perpetual night
I lost true love because I was so torn
Always afraid of the others belief scorn
The pride should have been worn on my skin like a tattoo
So I can know the real me and see the real you
I took a giant step into a new world of living
Life began and my heart started singing
Can you see what I'm talking about
I was finally free and my soul came out
