I Was Alone

When I was alone and
In obvious distress'
Along came Jesus
I had some-how
Past the test
And He came for me
He extended his ladder
Just for me,
It was all that seemed
To matter,
What else could it be
Fore my Salvation
Was assured in
The Kingdom of God
And say,
If not for my trespasses'
That wouldn't have been
So hard
