I Was

I was so hoping he would hold me as before
I was smelling his scent

I was so needing his love for eternity
I was dreaming it

I was shivering in my thoughts
I was used to his warmth

I was fumbling with each word
I was hoping he would teach me

I was planning a new life
I was just his old memory

I am seeking my true love
I am traveling through life alone
