I was, Your shiny silver band, wrapped so nicely around your finger I was, Your battered punching bag, Black and blue and bloody I was, The one of many you pled your love to, As you made your way to my bed I was, The caged wolf Wishing to escape I was, What I will never be again I broke the band I healed the wounds I pushed you out I escaped the cage … You thought I was beaten You thought wrong
