I Wanted You To Know

I wanted you to know 
that when you smile, I smile
that when you cry, I cry
you have told me your story
and I have told you mine
I wanted you to know 
that when you are sad 
I want to hug you
but I can't, and I am sad
you don't feel the way I feel
I wanted you to know 
that when I smile, you don't
that when I cry, you won't
I can't tell you these things 
because you don't feel  the way I feel
you have her 
and she is perfect
I don't have you 
because I wasn't picked 
She will always make you happy
that makes me happy
I wanted you to know 
that these are all the things
I wanted you to know
