I Wanted To See The Line
I Just Wanted
To Be Good.
It Just Seemed
Like The
Right Choice.
But, When
Identifying 'Good,'
I Noticed A:
Dismissive Pattern
Arose Like
Tapestry
Clock-Work
Keeping
Time...
Boxes With
Sides Undefined.
***
What Are Those
Boxes For, And
What Are They
Made Of, And
Why Are They
Shaped Like That?
I Eventually
Asked, Because:
I Am Totally
Out Of My Mind.
***
But Then, I Was
So Young, I
Definitely
Understood.
They Told Me, And
That's Good.
Plus Plus.
A Triple Plus.
It's Easy, Whatever!
***
So We Were Travelling
By Car, On A Road
Vacation, Travelling
The Inter-State And
Crossed A State Line...
I Was Horrified!
What! When?!
We're In
Another State!?
I Don't Know
About You,
But I'm Not
The Only Dumb One...
I Was Mad There
Wasn’t A LINE!
***
It Was A Sad
Revelation For
An Over-Sensitive Mind.
No Freaking Lines.
