I Wanted Her To Be President

She said maybe to so many things, I was not sure she had an opinion
But after awhile I realized she has an honorary degree in diplomacy
Always accepting, never judging
I had not found anyone else like this in the world yet
I was amazed and pleasantly surprised
She never put anyone down or used derogatory names
I wanted her to be the queen or the president, 
but she was not excited about either
preferring to be a neighbor, friend, and nurturer instead.

I have so many friends it is crazy, but I let them talk at me while I paint and they love that and it entertains me too, so painting helps.

I wrote 3 political poems in the same day once but did not post them because there was so much rage in them. It did me good to "get them out" though.
