Can't believe we said goodbye
But maybe it was best for you and I
I really wanna tell you how I feel
But we've been down that road before
And your heart is now like steel
You're not letting anyone in or out
And I wanna shout
Let me in
And let's see if it'll work again
Don't wanna live without you any longer
A year's long enough
Boy my love is stronger
Than I thought it would be
Had me dreaming about you in my sleep
Can't believe I didn't see this at first
The love in my heart for you
Makes me wanna burst
And I'm not desperate
I just know what I want
Don't care what my friends say
You are the only one to brighten my day
Love me right and I'll be true
We've matured alot so I know
This love will endure
I want us to have what everyone else has
And that's true love
