I Want To Write

I want to write
And I cannot in the daytime

I find myself confused
As if my mind has been bruised

I stutter in the night
And I am jittery when I fight

Yet I try to write
When everything is bright

I find myself in the night
Even if it takes all my might

I’m at peace in the dark
Within sight of my mark..
