I Want To Walk Barefoot In the Yard

I want to feel the fallen leaves of autumn under my feet
Their dry, soft crunch... Soft grass
I look up to see a tree blossoming in spring
Early light of the earth star make the leaves so green
I want to live in the wind everyday
I want to wake up early because I want to hear tranquility
Humble furry creatures who wake earlier than I
Because they live by the sun, not by the pendulum
So in touch with the wild
The nature I like to watch
Through the window down the way
from my cubicle
Always thinking out of the usual
Even now,
I should be working
But I don't want too
I want to walk barefoot in the yard
