-I Want Them Back

As I age the more  I reflect
On the years gone by
About the ones I loved and lost
Feeling both happy and sad ….I cry!

I know that’s the cycle of life
We all have to move on
But I just want them back
It’s not as good here with them gone!

It doesn’t seem fair to have to experience such loss
It fact it’s quite cruel and unkind
When someone you love is just taken away
And you are  left behind

I know that it is life 
That is how it needs to be
But I still want them back
To feel whole again….completely!
