I Want My Baby Back
you saw me falling,
but you kept watching,
for i was your child,
and you wanted your baby back.
i thought i had it all planned,
i smiled at the thought of seeing it all,
but you said time is all am offering her,
because you wanted your baby back.
when things got really messy,
thats when i thought of looking up to you,
and you took me in with open arms,
because you got your baby back.
A lesson well taught and learnt,
thats how you made it all happen,
and am grateful for all it takes,
because now i know the Lord has my back.
