I Want Love

I want love
To help me find the light switch
When I'm in a dark room
I want love
To show me the door
When I can't find it on my own
I want love
To point out the Sun
When I'm too blind to see it
I want love
To prove to me that my heart is still beating
When I feel like it's not
I want love
To show me there is still the possibility
Of butterflies in my stomach
When I feel like there's not enough room
For them to flutter their wings
I want love
To show me what happiness looks like
In a world where I can only see sadness
I want love
I want love

much much love to you Emily! I think it's a natural thing to want love, sometimes crave it myself but count my blessings and know love is eternal, it comes and goes "if today was perfect there would be no need for tomorrow" (-my favourite pillow quote). I have no doubt you will receive the love you need, PSSST it tends to come when we least expect it, one of my favourite topics "Love", thank you for writing about it !
