I Want It

I want it
But I cannot say it
I open my mouth
words refuse to appear

I want it
I get a pen to pen
my hand trembles
no word I can write

another comes
boldly he goes forward
words flow as water
and gets it

my dear
think about me
speechless as I am
cowardly as I am
I want it too

mother courage
why make me shy?
I lose my heart’s desires
just because I’m shy!
