I Want

We are seen at the speed of light
A few we glimpse we want to last
Others kept shrouded in the night
Ones on the peripheral blur right past
(I want to be seen)

The prism of life
Separates us all
Into a spectrum
Which causes a fall
(I want to be whole)

The echoes of the past
Gets louder then fades
Can you hear the future’s past
Carried on the waves
(I want to be heard)

Are we just particles and waves
Is that what makes us who we are
Are we just an illusion
Or stardust that’s travelled so very far
(I want to be true)

Before you share all that you know
Show us first before you start
That you can feel others pain
Deep within your own heart.
(I want to be loved)
