I Wander the Desert Alone
I wander through the desert of life alone
As if, I were a grain of sand,
And it, a thriving ocean!
I wander through its dunes, letting myself be blown
Going wherever it wills,
Having no strength to impose upon it,
My own will!
Why, like it, my heart remains a barren one,
Thirsting for the oasis of love,
The oasis willed to me by the Mother of Life
The oasis into which I shall merge
And bloom,
Into a vineyard, filled with juicy grapes
And intoxicating barrels of wine
Meant simply,
To entrance love
Into the enchantment of my authenticity!
I wander through the desert of life alone
Having, as inner strength
The purpose of love's enactment!
