I Wander
I wander endlessly through the night my eyes filled with flowing droplets.
And yet,
I still wander.
Step by step I drift to a place,
A place where the wind is a simple breeze,
A place where the sounds are intensified,
A place where all is unmoving,
A place where I am all that cries.
My sobs fill the air.
And I pray not anyone hears.
For if they hear they shall worry
And I am not to be a bother.
I am one to comfort.
I am not one to be comforted.
I place myself below the dirt,
Below the smallest ants,
Below the scum of the earth
Below the entirety.
But even the smallest of bugs cry.
And I am as small as a fly.
