I wait for you each day Watching out the window I wonder where you went Not somewhere I could go? That's how my time is spent I wait for you each day Pull stuffing out of toys Maybe go through the trash Guard house from outside noise Snacking on my new stash I wait for you each day I'm mostly sawing logs Can't wait for you, to sniff Were you with other dogs? I can tell in one whiff.... I wait for you each day Except on the weekend Go for an early roam Full day with my best friend I love when you are home I wait for you each day When you leave, do you say, Something like I love you?
