I Wait

Im waiting for a falling star
That hides behind the moon
To write my name across the sky
In hopes to come home soon…
I wait between each silent breath
Thats muffled as I call
Sometimes it seems that I’ve been left
When nothing sounds at all…
I wait for every season change
Just like I’m still alive
Because the day I passed away
I’ve lost all sense of time…
I wait for every loved one
To pass my stone and say
How much they love, how much they miss
The ones that’s couldn’t stay…
I wait for heavens angel
To inform me of my fate
Or answer that one question
Until then I lay and wait…
