Notes About The Poem

Please don't tell me how you are voting, and no I will not tell you how I voted.

I Voted Today

Election day is on Tuesday this week
and to the poles I wanted to go.
But I needed the time off,
and my boss told me “no.”
So I went to the poles today
they were open near me,
I cast my vote at the booth
and now I will just wait and see.
America will wait and see.
Now the way I see it,
and maybe others agree,
if things go horribly wrong
I will have the right to sing a sad song.

I have a suspicion you voted my way. I just used a drop off box yesterday. Very convenient. polls are not too popular when ballots are mailed in, etc.these days. Good poem, Miranda

Hi Miranda I hope the candidate of your choice gets elected.

Me too and roughly 50% of Americans agree with my choice. 50% obviously because this is a very tight presidential race.

From the little I know, both candidates do not deserve to win. Pity, USA is a great country.

Our choices get increasingly worse every single time.
