I Used To Could

I used to could do a lot of things
When I was younger still.
But now my body wreaks of age
From climbing up the hill.
The downward stroll is not so hard
Less resistance to my will.
I wander slowly through the days
And try to get my fill.
I used to could go and do and be
So many things there were to see.
But now I sit and bide my time
Just happy to be me.

'Just happy to be me' --- with all those wonderful memories! Enjoy! (I feel the same way, by the way. Totally relate!) Thanks, Gershon
