I Turn Away

"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who are cruel, but because of those who look on, and do nothing." Quote by _ Albert Einstein My nature is that of a gentle soul, yet, I face my life with apprehension; for some that I meet have a combat goal, they offer antagonism tension. And my best plan is to just surrender, for I seek no domination splendour ! Often, people come with hostility, for a war- so I pirouette away; can I make a friend with civility ? Perhaps in time we can embrace one day. And I believe that the truth is the best, for a liar is an unwanted guest ! I wear my scars with great humility, and within me is great tranquility ! ________________________ November 04, 2022 Poetry/Rhyme/I Turn Away Copyright Protected, ID 11-1498-990-04 All Rights Removed, 2022, Constance La France Written for the Premiere contest, Rotate Consciousness Polarity sponsor, Unseeking Seeker, Judged 11/11/2022 Seventh Place

I carry deep scars of my early life, scars that will never heal, but I have now planted my roots and found my place.
